Way of the Wharves is delighted to announce that the Charities Commission confirmed today (6 April 2020) that Way of the Wharves is a registered charity (WAY OF THE WHARVES CIO Registered Charity Number 1188912) having the objective:  “To advance the education of the public in the maritime and industrial heritage of the Wharves at East the Water and the Torridge Estuary.”. This will allow Way of the Wharves to pursue charity grants that were not previously available and continue to develop the project.
