A community event organised by Way of the Wharves and using the universal language of drawing for learning, expression, and invention. Getting Bideford involved and creative by being part of the World’s Biggest Community of Drawing Enthusiasts!
The weather was kind – mostly. More sun than rain and the rain showers, though heavy were only brief. Thanks to our volunteers for help with preparations and on the day and to everyone who came to see us – Moms, Dads, supporters and of course especially the 35 people who registered and submitted a drawing. Check out their work in the Drawings Gallery at www.bidefordbigdraw.org
Funded by a grant from Heritage Lottery Fund, prize donations from Red Earth and cleaning products and materials from Asda. Excess art materials have been donated to Action for Children to be used across their Children’s Centres in Torridge.
